Lite-On IT, Meiloon Team Up for Car ODDs

The two Taiwanese companies Lite-On IT and Meiloon recently announced that Lite-On IT will acquire a 30% stake in speaker maker Meiloon for approximately NT$1.5 billion. Through this tie-up the companies intend to focus on automotive ODDs (Optical Disk Drive) and make a strong push into this market.
